Norvia Pena, hailing from the picturesque island of the Dominican Republic with roots that reach back to the African Diaspora, share a cultural history that resonates with many Roxbury natives. This connection makes them a suitable owner for the restaurant and bar now known as “Fort Hill Bar and Grill” which has been a neighborhood eatery and tavern since 1925.

With similarities in food and music, the Pena Family hopes to continue the rich history of a place that has stood as a hallmark cultural center in the community for almost 100 years.
